Saudi Transport Minister says SAR 200B in investments injected

Saudi Arabia has so far injected nearly SAR 200 billion of target investments included in the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS), launched in mid-2021 said Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, during the global logistics forum in Riyadh.

These investments turned into major strides in the industry, allowing the Kingdom to occupy a leading position in several indices globally.

The strategic cooperation between public private sectors has played a key role in achieving these accomplishments. Further, the Kingdom has made significant sustainability strides using railways. Last year, one million trucks were replaced by a railway network, which helped reduce emissions.
