Tech Stocks Sink in Wake of Disappointing ASML Report

The stock market fell sharply after Wall Street reacted to numbers from ASML Holdings that came out a day earlier than the company was expected to report.

The numbers were released on data providers like FactSet and Bloomberg.

The Nasdaq Composite slid 0.8%. The S&P 500 was down 0.4%. The Dow was down 0.4%.
