The stock market is rallying broadly, but even modest gains have been fleeting this week.
The S&P 500 was up 0.5%, with 353 of the index’s members on track to close higher. The Nasdaq Composite recovered from an early stumble and was up 0.6%. The Dow was up 250 points, or 0.6%.
Technology stocks were rebounding amid some dip-buying of Nvidia shares; the stock was up 2.6% after opening lower and falling sharply on Thursday.
