Buc-ee’s kicks off hiring event, expected to open in summer

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – Buc-ee’s is coming to south-central Kentucky and bringing more jobs to the region.

On Tuesday, the National Corvette Museum hosted a hiring event for the upcoming Buc-ee’s in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, which runs through Thursday, May 16.

The franchise is looking to fill 300 positions, and they provide benefits that include a 401k, vision and so much more, even for those with no experience.

Store opening manager of Buc-ee’s, Tim Barley, says, “Buc-ee’s offers a great opportunity for anyone and with no experience necessary to come into our operation. We give that training, for anybody that comes in. So, their future with Buc-ee’s is something that could help anyone that’s looking for a good career.”

Training for the new employees will begin May 24.
