Indian markets are gradually finding stability as domestic investors step in to counterbalance heavy foreign selling. In the first half of October 2024, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) offloaded Rs 58,394 crore worth of shares—the highest sell-off since June 2022. However, domestic investors, particularly mutual funds, have absorbed much of this selling pressure, helping to mitigate a sharper market decline.
