US President Donald Trump has said that 25pc tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada will start on Tuesday, sparking renewed fears of a North American trade war.
“Tomorrow — tariffs 25pc on Canada and 25pc on Mexico. And that’ll start,” Mr Trump told reporters in the Roosevelt Room this evening.
