NTPC Green Energy shares gained 2.24% to trade at Rs 108.15 in Monday’s session, driven by positive investor sentiment. The stock is a constituent of the NIFTY MIDCAP 150 index.

The company’s quarterly financial performance shows a consistent revenue stream. The revenue for the quarter-ending March 2024 was Rs 508.14 Crore, which increased to Rs 578.44 Crore for the quarter-ending June 2024. However, revenue dipped slightly to Rs 503.85 Crore and Rs 505.08 Crore for the quarters-ending September 2024 and December 2024, respectively, before rising to Rs 622.27 Crore for the quarter-ending March 2025.

Net profit also saw considerable fluctuations. For the quarter-ending March 2024, the net profit was Rs 80.95 Crore. It then increased to Rs 138.61 Crore for the quarter-ending June 2024 but declined to Rs 38.07 Crore and Rs 65.61 Crore for the quarters-ending September 2024 and December 2024, respectively. A significant increase was recorded for the quarter-ending March 2025, with a net profit of Rs 233.06 Crore.

The company’s yearly financial performance shows a consistent revenue increase. The revenue for 2023 was Rs 169.69 Crore, which increased to Rs 1,962.60 Crore in 2024 and further to Rs 2,209.64 Crore in 2025.

Net profit also saw considerable increase, from Rs 171.23 Crore in 2023 to Rs 344.72 Crore in 2024 and Rs 475.35 Crore in 2025.

The Board of Directors of NTPC Green Energy Ltd is scheduled to convene on July 28, 2025, to review and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.
